Brian Fahey - Stereo Explosion (1971)

As it's so nice and sunny today, why not play the wonderful Trumpets In The Sun.  Very, very loudly.

Pepe Jaramillo - Moonlight In Mexico (1967)

Due to another DMCA complaint, the links to this post have been collapsed.

The question is will I ever get tired of posting Studio 2 Stereo albums?  Nah...

Franck Pourcel - Dancing In The Sun (1970)

Those of us in the UK have no doubt been enjoying the beautiful Good Friday weather.  I've been saving this album for just such a day.  IMHO, apart from the wonderful Days Of Pearly Spencer, the title track to this album, Dancing In The Sun, is one of Franck's finest tracks on all of his many albums.

Chaquito - It's Magic (1971)

Well, let's give this one a go. My favourite (probably) of all the Chaquito albums.  It certainly contains my favourite track by them, the title track, It's Magic.

Thanks for all the emails of support, BTW!  It's much appreciated and it's always nice to hear that people like wat we're doing here at I-FE.

More DMCA Complaints Today

Well, three more posts have been removed today due to a DMCA complaint.

To be honest, I'm not sure this is going to be worth it anymore if they're just going to take everything down.

Nelson Riddle - Changing Colors (1973)

We have received a DMCA complaint for one or more of your blogs. Emails with the details that were sent to you and all affected posts have been reset to "Draft" status (you may find them by selecting "Drafts" on the "Edit posts" page for each of the affected blogs). You may re-publish the posts with the offending content and/or link(s) removed. If you believe that you have the rights to post this content, you can file a counter-claim with us. For more on our DMCA policy, please click here. Thank you for your prompt attention.

This is a fantastic album.  Two of my favourite ever tracks are on here, My Life and Lamento.  From now on I'll be putting a couple of tracks from each upload on YouTube, so at least you can sample before you download or at hear on what you've missed out on!  As someone else pointed out Divshare just slows things down.

Grab this while you can as who knows how long this one will last.

Blogger DMCA Takedown Notification

I received an email from Blogger yesterday regarding three posts on In-Flight:  Garry Blake, Mellow Fruitfulness and Michel Legrand.  I have now removed the links but kept the posts there.

Interestingly, by law, they cannot delete my posts - just put them into draft mode, which they did.  They also have to list the complainants, but with any personal info redacted.  This is the link they sent me, interesting stuff:

http://www.chillingeffects.org/notice.cgi

Not been a good week in blogger land, to be honest.  Before this a lot of links I had on Megaupload and Rapidshare have been deleted.  If you try and download a file and the link is dead then please contact me.  I'm not going to replace the files - it takes too much time.

Is this the beginning of the end?

Lovely sounding album includes contemporary hits such as A White Shade of Pale and Puppet on a String.  Highlight for me though is Soul Coaxing, AKA Ame Caline, of which I never tire of hearing.

This one is for the Cotswold Kid and for no other reason than for being a bloody nice bloke.

I've posted a few albums by Garry in the past and they've all been received well.  I don't know a thing about him though, so if anyone has any information then I'd be grateful.  This was posted previously with a different sleeve, but this is a nicer sounding copy, with a slightly different track list.

Nice album this from Michel Legrand, an early one from '62.

In-Flight Soundtracks - Now Open For Business

I've decided to create a blog just for all the soundtracks in my collection, so head over the Rialto for some fine silver screen related music:

http://inflightrialto.blogspot.com

The first post is Quincy Jones' soundtrack How To Steal A Diamond in Four Uneasy Lessons.
