Andrew Lloyd Webber - The Odessa File (1974)
Yes, you read that right: Andrew. Lloyd. Webber. This generally excellent score was written by Sir Andrew way back in the early 70s before he took the world of theatre by storm. This is one of those soundtracks that contains tracks from both ends of the spectrum, some great funky pieces featuring his brother Julian and some pieces even I struggle to listen to. Overall, this is a really good example of Cold War Thriller music.
1. Odessa Theme - Main Title
2. Christmas Dream
3. Solomon Tauber's Diary/Music At Riga
4. Miller's Theme/Amboss Polka
5. Odessa Anthem (Vocal Version)
6. Schwarzbraun Ist Die Haselnuss
7. Odessa Anthem (Orchestral Version)
8. Miller Joins The Odessa
9. Christmas Dream (Carousel)
10. Kidnap
11. Odessa Discovery-Fugue
12. Sigi and Miller
13. Miller Finds Roschmann
14. Christmas Dream (German Band)

Giorgio Moroder - Music From Battlestar Galactica (1978)
This week's soundtrack is a wonderful disco odyssey from Giorgio Moroder. Side one is taken up with tracks from Battlestar Galactica while side two comprises of one 15 minute Moroder original called Evolution. All the tracks on side one run into each other so I haven't bothered separating them. Hopefully that won't spoil your enjoyment too much.
1. Theme From Battlestar Galactica
2. Destruction Of Peace
3. Transmitter - Part One
4. Adama's Theme
5. It's Love, Love, Love
6. Transmitter - Part Two
7. Exploration
8. Theme From Battlestar Galactica
9. Evolution

The Sonic All-Stars - The Sounds Of Star Wars (1977)
I'm a pretty avid collector of soundtracks and film related albums. Lately, I've been thinking about posting soundtracks on a more regular basis. So I've decided to post a new soundtrack (or as this post a soundtrack related album) every Sunday.
To kick-off Soundtrack Sunday (I know, it took me a while to come up with that) I've decided to choose this tasty little album from Bruce Baxter. I was 11 when Star Wars came out and like the rest of the world I went a bit Star Wars mad and bought most things I could find. Most stuff was great, some not so. I've always had a notion that Bruce went to his local Rumbelows, bought himself a Bontempi, went home and recorded this. See what you reckon. Personally, I love it!
1. Star Wars Intro/Star Wars Main Title
2. Princess Leia's Theme
3. Imperial Attack
4. Ben's Death/Tie Fighter Attack
5. Cantina Band
6. The Throne Room
7. End Title
