The Button Down Brass - Everybody's Talking (1971)
Not had any BDB on here for a while, so here's a nice LP to beat the mid-week blues.

Pete Winslow - Last Tango In Paris (1973)
Mmm...now this one makes me suspicious. I found this tucked away in my "Posting Possibility" folder on my PC. I usually post stuff more or less as I record them but I did this way back in May, so that suggests to me that there's something wrong with it. Apologies if that's the case. I haven't listened to it. You never know though, I may have just forgotten about it.
Anyway, let me know if there's anything wrong with it.

Hammond Fever (Deacon Stereo) (1971)
The run up to Christmas with a five-year-old and a wife is never easy! That's what I'm blaming my lack of posts on. So, to make amends I'll be posting some stuff that I've posted....elsewhere...he says in a mysterious way.
In memory of my Mom who would have been 75 today.
This is a corker.

Franck Pourcel and Pepe Jaramillo - Studio 2 Stereo
In-Flight Entertainment started two years ago today and to celebrate I'm posting a couple of S2S belters from Franck Pourcel and Pepe Jaramillo.
I must apologise for the lack of posts during November but I've been pretty busy at work and home and so haven't had the chance to rip any of the big pile of albums waiting to be posted.
To make up for it I'll be reposting some albums you may have missed over the last two years so please drop me an email - or leave a comments - if you have any requests and I'll see what I can do.
Thanks to all of you who've given encouragement and suggestions since November 2009.

Gerry Butler - The Happy Hammond Goes Pop Country (1972)
A companion to the album posted at the beginning of the week. Similarly, this was ripped at the beginning of the year and I'm mystified that I haven't posted it before.

Phil Allen - The Happy Hammond Goes Pop (1972)
This was encoded way back in January but for some reason I never got round to uploading it (along with Country Pop). I did upload one track to YouTube though and I'd like to thank Jules for reminding me about the LP.

Henry Mancini - Symphonic Soul (1975)
LINK COLLAPSED DUE TO DMCA COMPLAINT
Well, apparently this is our last day of the indian summer, so what better way to say goodbye than with this album, one of the best you'll hear today, or any day for that matter.
The wonderful Butterfly.
Be quick though; I think we're on someone's hit list again.

Zubin Mehta - Star Wars And Close Encounters (1978)
DMCA COMPLAINT AGAIN. LINK COLLAPSED
To celebrate my Star Wars Blu-Ray box set arriving from Amazon yesterday here's more Star Wars related tomfoolery.

Meco - Star Wars And Other Galactic Funk (1977)
DMCA COMPLAINT AGAIN. LINK COLLAPSED
A classic album this. I apologise in advance for not separating the tracks. I did try, but they all run into each other and it turned into a bit of a nightmare.

Sinfonia '72 (1972)
One of the many "greatest session men" albums. This is a good one though. Check out their spectacular version of Wichita Lineman.
Dedicated to those who lost their lives in the Twin Towers. Have a good weekend everyone.

Alan Tew - Tom Springfield - Latin Style (1969) and Magnificent Swingers (1970)
DMCA COMPLAINT AGAIN. LINK COLLAPSED
I've posted these two great Alan Tew albums before but my original posts were a little scratchy. I was lucky enough last week to find them again in almost perfect condition in my local British Heart Foundation. So I thought they deserved a second chance.

Andy Ross And His Orchestra - The Godfather (1972)
DMCA COMPLAINT AGAIN. LINK COLLAPSED
A great little album from Andy Ross. OK, so some of it is a little hard going, but when it's good, it's good. The versions of The Persuaders and Jason King are spot on.

Birds 'N Brass - Soundsational (1970)
The brainchild of Keith Roberts, Birds 'N Brass derived their unique sound from conventional brass, guitar, etc and fused this with the wonderful voice of Barbara Moore (an album from her coming over the weekend) and with the Trivox, a weird electronic accordion.
Birds 'N Brass released one more album in 1973; which is just as good. I'll try and post that soon.
Porbably the finest album released on the legendary Rediffusion label.

John Gregory - A Man For All Seasons (1974)
Mmm...now I can listen to almost anything but there's even stuff on here I don't like. Maybe, that's why he's a man for all seasons. Still, don't let that put you off, there are three well-known tracks on here that will blow yer socks off! Jetstream being one such classic.

John Schroeder - Gangster Movie Vibrations (1974)
Most probably the best (and funkiest!) of the Vibrations series from John Schroeder. Check out his brilliant version of Quincy Jones' Money Runner.
