Ivor Raymonde Orchestra - It's Lovely Up Here (1968)

So, the DMCA complaints are back, thanks to our friend Ebay Wise.  Links deleted.

Been away for a few days so to celebrate my return here's a (shock!) vocal album from Ivor Raymonde.  Really nice arrangements of well-known standards.

So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Goodbye

This morning I received the following email from Mediafire:

Thanks for past help, Jodi & co... Thanks in advance for removing the five files listed below, including albums by Kookie Freeman and the Graham Dalley Dozen, and posted at http://loungetastic.blogspot.com/

These files/folders contain unauthorized mp3 files of material owned by Chappell Music. They have not been licensed for free downloads R.L. Smith I am acting on a good faith belief that the above items infringe on intellectual property rights and copyright, and under penalty of perjury state authorization to request the removal of these links. You might instruct bloggers/uploaders who need further information to download:

This is a post-only mailing. Replies to this message are not monitored or answered.

Now that these files have been taken down you'll obviously have to go into your nearest record store and stock up on all the Kookie Freeman, Manuel and Graham Dalley CDs that are littering the shelves!

It's a shame that because of our friendly little Web Sheriffs like Jodi "and co", this music will never be heard by more than a handful of us lucky enough to own the records.

I think that's probably it for me now, it all seems a little pointless...

Due to another DMCA complaint, the links to this post have been collapsed.

The question is will I ever get tired of posting Studio 2 Stereo albums?  Nah...

More DMCA Complaints Today

Well, three more posts have been removed today due to a DMCA complaint.

To be honest, I'm not sure this is going to be worth it anymore if they're just going to take everything down.

Blogger DMCA Takedown Notification

I received an email from Blogger yesterday regarding three posts on In-Flight:  Garry Blake, Mellow Fruitfulness and Michel Legrand.  I have now removed the links but kept the posts there.

Interestingly, by law, they cannot delete my posts - just put them into draft mode, which they did.  They also have to list the complainants, but with any personal info redacted.  This is the link they sent me, interesting stuff:

Not been a good week in blogger land, to be honest.  Before this a lot of links I had on Megaupload and Rapidshare have been deleted.  If you try and download a file and the link is dead then please contact me.  I'm not going to replace the files - it takes too much time.

Is this the beginning of the end?
