Lenny Dee - Gentle On My Mind (1968)
I'm going to the seaside with the wife and the nipper tomorrow so here's a little something to be getting along with. Hopefully the views on the beach will be as nice as on this cover!
Happy Barefoot Boy - for my five-year-old boy who loves the beach.

Middle Of The Road - Phase 4 Stereo (1973)
I can't remember the last time I posted a Phase 4 album, so here's a nice compilation from '73. There really are some oustanding tracks on this; Les Reed's Good Morning Starshine, Stanley's Black's These Boots Are Made For Walking and Everybody's Talkin' by Claude Denjean.

The World Of Easy Listening - Volume Six (1973)
Here's the final volume, featuring some fine tracks including this version of With A Little Help From My Friends from Jose Pirata.
Well, it's the last one I've got anyway, there may have been more volumes. Anyone out there know?

Ray Martin and His Orchestra - Favourite TV Themes (1973)
Ray Martin & his Orchestra showcase some great early 70s TV themes here. Particular favourite on here is Wheelbase, though The Big Match, AKA La Soiree brings back wonderful memories of watch footy on tele in the 70s. Good old Brian Moore!
Look out for Volume 2, which is even better.

Chico Arnez - The New Sounds Of (1972)
This is one of those records that I play over and over again. I wouldn't say it's legendary or anything like that, but everyone I've ever spoken to who's been into "my" kind of music has always sung it praises. And rightly so.
There are scandalously funky versions of Whole Lotta Love, Aquarius and Fleetwood Mac's Oh Well. Plus a great self-composed opener called Would I. There are some great backing vocals too from Sylvia King from The Ladybirds.
I don't want to big it up too much or anything but this is amazing stuff.

Bert Kaempfert - That Latin Feeling (1966)
For me, the best of all Bert's albums. Including the fantastic Mambo Mania.
This is the re-release from '66.
